We cultivate one acre of land for the market garden. We grow a large variety of annual vegetables, herbs, blueberries, blackberries, and one of our personal favourites, cantaloupe.
We make our own compost on site and add only the highest quality amendments to the field. No pesticides, herbicides or chemicals are used on the farm. We strongly believe that healthy food is essential to human health, and we take our growing practices very seriously. The health of the soil is also incredibly important to us and we are transitioning to a no-till system in the 2022 season. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting project!
We also raise a flock of laying hens and have fresh eggs available year round. Look for them at the farm stand throughout the week - or get in touch to place an order.
