WHAT’S ON THE FARM
Events
Join one of our events or rent a venue here to host your own.
sheep
Meet our dual-purpose Romney and Babydoll flock. The sheep have 3 acres of managed pasture to roam in a Garry Oak savannah.
We use every part of the animal: shorn wool is spun for knitting + felting; lamb meat is on sale year-round; and sheepskin hides are available.
horse boarding
Our 130 year old barn is the original build, made with good bones and a lot of sense. Additional paddocks and outdoor stalls have been added. There is a hog field riding, an exercise ring, two acres of pasture turnout, access to Ardmore’s nature trails, and the entirety of the farm to ride.

The Tannery
The tannery is a natural, non-toxic artisanal hide tanning centre.
We use the elemental ingredients of fat, mineral, and tree bark to transform farm waste products into beautiful leather textiles. We work with sheep skins from southern Vancouver Island family farms + with wild deer hides . Visit us to take a class.
The Willow farm
Established by Mark in the spring of 2025, the willow farm will be aged for harvesting in 2027. We’ve planted a wide variety of colourful basketry + tannin-rich species. Cuttings + basketry rods will be for sale when they mature. Basketry classes will be available then too. :)
The market garden
Commercial food production is on pause while the land rests for a few seasons. Email us if you want to hear about fresh blueberries, garlic, and other foods in abundance as they become available. Head to our shop page for lamb meat sales anytime,
